What is Dan Slater like on any given day?

When I'm not traveling for work I love being home. There is always some sort of DJing/Production work to do. I usually go to the gym five times a week, and do a yoga class once a week too.

What are your hobbies?

I love going to the beach, paddle boarding, riding my bike, and I like cooking. Nothing better than having friends over and cooking for them.

What has been the happiest moment of your career?

I actually brought my Mom to Circuit Festival in Barcelona and on her first Atlantis Cruise in 2019. It was one of my favorites because she was able to see what I’ve achieved, and she loved meeting everyone that I work with too.

And the most difficult?

2020 looked like it was going to be the busiest year of my career. I’d been focusing on production, and had two original tracks ready to be released. Then Covid happened and everything stopped. Dealing with that plus the negativity on Social Media was a really difficult time.

Could you dedicate yourself to something that wasn’t music?

After I finished dancing, I went to University to study a Bachelor of Business in Marketing. I have been working on a few Marketing project in Music & Entertainment, and could definitely see myself doing more in the future.

How would you describe your sets as a DJ?

I try and keep my sets upbeat and high energy regardless of style; Circuit, Disco, Deep or Tropical House.
